Nicola & Kevin chose Harburn House, a beautiful private Georgian mansion situated amid a 3000 acre estate, for their ceremony and reception venue.

A fresh, spring wedding look with a strong hint of colour was asked for so we went for whites, ivory, greens & purple colours using hydrangeas, peonies, bouvardia, sweet peas and eustoma to create a stunning look.

Needless to say we really enjoyed the relaxing surroundings during the set up of Nicola & Paul’s wedding.

Sheraton Event

April 10, 2010

Event held at The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, in their Edinburgh Suite.

Tall martini style vases filled with lush arrangement of pink dendrobium orchids.

Debbie & David chose the Caledonian Hall in the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh. They enjoyed the best of sunny weather which all contributed to a magical day in beautiful surroundings.

Debbie carried a hand tie of phelanopsis orchids and her bridesmaids all white calla lilies. The table centres for the reception were all white blossom and phelanopsis orchids  in tall flute vases with a garland of orchids.

On the Day: The beautiful sunny weather allowed Debbie & David to hold their ceremony outdoors. We also enjoyed doing a set up outside in such glorious conditions and surroundings.

What more is there to say about The George Hotel, that hasn’t been said before! A stunning venue full of style and elegance.

Angela & Paul were using the King’s Hall for both their ceremony and reception so we felt we should display their beautiful table arrangements during both. For the ceremony we put in small gold plinths and placed the table arrangements, long slim vases with a top of beautiful white phelanopsis orchids and a spear of grasses, on top. These were moved to the table centres for the reception.

The Edinburgh Corn Exchange is a stylish and versatile venue with real character.

Natalie wanted a full, lush and romantic look for her wedding so we provided a beautiful arrangement of avalanche, peony and spray roses sitting on top of our tall flute vases. The look was completed with little pots of lime green and white flowers to complement.

Natalie’s bouquet was all white sweet peas and spray roses.

The Royal College of Physicians is an immaculate venue, full of warmth & character.

Emma & Jacob wanted a soft, timeless, spring wedding so we went for whites & ivories and lime & soft green colours. Emma carried a hand tie of paperwhites and the bridesmaids  carried bouquets of white & green hydrangeas to compliment their soft green dresses.

The whole look and feel of the Great Hall was amazing after the set up was completed. The tables centres consisted of tall vases with lush arrangements of green & white hydangeas, peonies, white eustoma & viburnum. Lots and lots of candles and hurricane lamps and small pots around the room and tables finished off this fabulous easter look.

With it’s spectacular views overlooking the Firth of Forth the MacDonald Marine Hotel is undoubtedly one of the best seaside hotels in Scotland.

The wedding reception was set up in the Bass Rock Suite, overlooking the Firth of Forth.

The table centre arrangements were tall martini vases with a sphere of red grand prix roses and blue thistles sitting on a bed of clear gell balls – standing on a round mirror finished with little pots of flowers and candles to compliment.

Venue: MacDonald Marine Hotel, North Berwick

  • Reception: Bass Rock Suite

On the day: Good Friday and a beautiful sunny day. Lynn & David enjoyed the best of the Easter weekend weather allowing excellent views of Scotlands stunning East Coast.
